One hour Lesson: Mixed media and Collage Community Center Ages 5-9

Students Practiced Composition & Fine Motor Skills, Cutting and Gluing Shapes into a fun Collage.

One hour Lesson: Dia De Los Muertos

Community Center Ages 5-9

After reading a book about the Mexican holiday honoring the dead we made related artwork. 

The Students used Model Magic Clay to make Sugar Skulls. They practiced making 3D elements and then applied it in a Mixed Media Composition.

Two hour Lesson: This is me!

Community Center & Art Center 

Ages 7-11

Building on prior skills students practiced drawing facial proportions and filling page. This time their Self Portrait has a lift up flap where each student could add his/her unique personal interests.
